SHORT HISTORY: The family domaine was established in the 1890s by Vincent’s great-grandfather. Since taking over the running of the domaine in 1989, they haven’t stopped striving to improve the quality of the wines and are now among the most highly reputed producers in Anjou.

(MICRO)CLIMATE: warm and temperate.

TERROIR: clay shale

VITICULTURE: Winter pruning, de-budding in the spring, crop thinning (green harvest) in July and de-leafing throughout the summer. All this hard work leads up to the harvest in the autumn. They pick by hand – going through the vineyard several times to pick the grapes at the optimum moment.
