Tobias Vanderbilt, our head chef, believes in local produce and his menu will evolve with the seasons. Tobias has worked around the world with top chefs in some amazing restaurants, such as Cowarth Park, The Marco Pierre White Group, Stovells and the Cottage Inn. At the Beacon Bistro, Tobias is able to add his own unique twist to some classic dishes, creating a genuine culinary experience, as pleasing to the eye as it is to the taste buds.

Simon has lived in Beaconsfield for over 20 years and founded Beacon Wines in January 2016 to bring new and exciting wines to the area. Over the last 3 years he has been serving some amazing wines to the good folk of Beaconsfield at pop ups in Jungs and then Stix. In addition to classic beautifully made wine, Simon is also passionate about organic and natural wines and will be more than happy to greet you with a smile and offer you a glass of something you’ll love.

Alison is also one of the original founders of Beacon Wines and is the brains of the operation😀. Alison is a qualified accountant and looks after the logistical side of the Beacon Bistro and the wine delivery business. Alison has long been passionate about food and wine and working alongside Tobias and Simon she completes the formidable team.
